Morgyn Wood sets sail on the Disney Treasure!

It’s Morgyn Wood, your host on the scene and behind it. Whether you’re watching me on your TV screens, hanging out with me at community events, or following me on social media, I always spotlight the best around the DMV and that of WHUT. 

With that said, my family and I just got back from an amazing trip where we got an exclusive sneak peak aboard Disney's newest cruise ship, the Disney Treasure!  I had no idea I was embarking on an unforgettable adventure, and I’m excited to share my perspective with you; especially since WHUT has a Disney Treasure Cruise Sweepstakes that you could win.

From the moment I stepped onto the ship, my family and I received the warmest welcome. The enchanting atmosphere gave me a sense of nostalgia moving me to unlock my inner child while also making new memories with my two kids. This cruise wasn’t like any other cruise I’ve ever been on; it was a celebration of life, love, and the childlike wonder we all carry inside us. 

Through engaging interviews, I had the opportunity to speak with Disney imagineers, hotel directors, our cruise director, and other cast members. They provided insights into the dedication and immense care that happens behind the scenes to ensure an unforgettable guest experience. I was truly impressed with the attention to detail regarding the design elements throughout the ship. Everything you see is intentional. Not to mention, the entertainment gave us all the feels, and the food options were abundantly satisfying. The cast and crew are the true key to unlocking all the magic of the ultimate Disney Treasure experience. 

Although it was my first Disney cruise, I’m hoping it won’t be my last. The look on my children’s faces affirmed we fostered core memories they will cherish for a lifetime. My daughter received the princess treatment, while my son was treated like the captain of the ship. We captured so much that I’ll share on social media @morgynmedia and @whuttv, but the real magic was being in the moment.
